On his
hopper paintball was created by David Sangwell in 2008, based on a
sketch drawn in October '07. Inspired by the style of Vans skate-wear
the on his hopper logo was created. "I feel that the current range of
paintball casual wear says nothing about the sport played all over the
world. Too many manufacturers are producing designs which are not
directly related to paintball but rely on the fact they produce small
aftermarket parts for markers to associate their brand with paintball."
On his hopper designs feature strong paintball images and aim to raise
awareness in the wider community of paintball's massive and growing
presence as a sport. David is more often known
in paintball circles as Scooby. He plays for the UK Asylum Paintball
team's Xball squad, and works full time for VIP Paintball in the Custard
factory Birmingham, aiming to help build the UK rental market,
introducing more players to the sport of paintball every day.
